Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cupssugar (250 grams)
  • 1orange
  • 3eggs
  • 1 packetbaking powder (such as Royal, about 0.5 oz or 16 grams)
  • 1/3 cupvegetable oil (70 milliliters)
  • 1 1/3 cupsall-purpose flour (170 grams)
  • 1/2 cupraisins (75 grams)
  • 1/2 cupshelled walnuts (75 grams)

    Wash the orange thoroughly. In a bowl, add the orange (cut into pieces, with the peel), sugar, eggs, and vegetable oil.

    Blend everything together until smooth. Sift the flour with the baking powder and add it to the mixture.

    Once the flour is fully incorporated, stir in some of the raisins and walnuts (chopped into pieces).

    Pour the batter into a greased and floured baking pan. Sprinkle some walnuts and raisins on top for decoration.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 30 minutes. Once done, let it cool, then remove from the pan and serve.
