A quick way to enjoy a good stew, and if there's any left over, you can make a great puree the next day ;)
Quick Lentils Without a Pressure Cooker
A quick way to enjoy a good stew, and if there's any left over, you can make a great puree the next day ;)
Steps
- 1
Peel the potatoes and cut them into small pieces, then add them to the pot along with the rest of the well-washed ingredients.
- 2
Add enough water to cover all the ingredients, pour in a splash of oil, and season to taste.
- 3
Cook on high heat for about 30 minutes, and your lentils will be ready.
- 4
Note: You can choose to cook the blood sausage and chorizo in a separate saucepan for a less fatty stew. In that case, I would add a bit of sweet paprika to the lentils for some extra flavor. Enjoy ;)
