First boil the potatoes and the sweet potatoes for about 15 mins so that it's 80% boiled...now fry the potatoes in deep oil for 5 mins...the flame of the gas should be high

Now take the cashew,raisins,onions,garlic,ginger and make a paste...and keep it aside... add 2 table spoon of the oil in the pan...then add chopped onions...and fry it...then add the paste and some water in it...now add the fried potatoes and sweet potatoes in it...

Finally add sugar...salt and fresh cream (optional) and serve the dish with rice...polau...paratha or even puri
