Soak cashews in 1/4 cup water for some time.make smooth paste in a grinder or mixer.

Make onion paste and ginger garlic paste separately

Heat oil in a pan.add whole spices and fry for 30 seconds

Add ginger garlic paste saute

Add onion paste and salt cook till all moisture evaporates and start leaving the pan

Add cashew nut paste

Add curd and mix well

Add garam masala mix well

Add water as desired

Add paneer pieces stir gently.add malai or cream.

Mix let it simmer

Delicious mughlai paneer ready to be served.
