Steps

  1. 1

Make a paste of onion, tomato, ginger garlic, whole garam masalas, little water and marinate the chicken in it for 15 mins.
In a pressure cooker add oil, and add the bay leaf then add the potatoes and give it a stir with salt.

  2. 2

Add the rice and give it a stir. Then add the chicken pieces with the marinade and stir in well keeping your gas on low flame. Cook covered and keep on stirring for 5 minutes.
Add exactly double the amount of the rice you have actually used that is 4 cups(use the same cup).

  3. 3

Give it a stir, add salt and close tight the lid and let the cooker have 2 whistles on high flame. Sim the gas burner immediately and switch it off after 1 whistle.
Let the cooker open by himself. Enjoy!!! Happy eating!!!

  4. 4

Remember one little thing the amount of water is the most important factor. While you can add another cup of water but dont give it any less.
You can also try out your own spices with the chicken marinade and present your own version.
