Ingredients

  1. 2 tspoil
  2. 1/4 cupfinely chopped onions
  3. 1 tspfinely chopped green chillies
  4. 1 1/2 cupsfinely chopped vegetables (french beans, carrots, cauliflower and green peas)
  5. to tastesalt and to taste
  6. other Ingredients--
  7. as requiredlarge cabbage leaves
  8. 1 1/2 cupsonion and tomato gravy
  9. to tastesalt
  10. 1/4 tspoil for greasing
  11. 1/3 cupgrated paneer (cottage cheese)

Cooking Instructions

    For the stuffing-
    Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan,add the onions and saute on a medium flame for 1 minute.

    Add the mixed vegetables, salt and pepper, mix well.

  3. 3

    Cook them on a medium flame for another 2 to 3 minutes,while stirring occasionally. Keep aside to cool slightly.

    Further procedure-
    Boil a vessel full of water, add a little salt and immerse cabbage leaves in it for a minute.

    Drain thoroughly and keep aside.Divide the stuffing into equal portions and keep aside.

    Place a cabbage leaf on a clean, dry surface, place a portion of the stuffing and roll it up tightly with threads.

  7. 7

    Repeat to make more rolls.Arrange the rolls on a pan.

  8. 8

    Pour the onion tomato gravy evenly over the cabbage rolls and cook them till the cabbage becomes tender.

  9. 9

    Serve them immediately.
