Ingredients

  • Green tea
  • 1/4 tspturmeric
  • 1/4 tspcayenne
  • 4-6thin slices ginger root
  • Turmeric root (optional)
  • Kombu (optional)
  • Juice from 1/2 lemon

Steps

  1. 1

    Put turmeric, ginger, cayenne, kombu (optional), and green tea in tea strainer

  2. 2

    Pour in boiling water. Let steep for 24 hours

  3. 3

    Discard contents of the strainer and add lemon juice

  4. 4

    Put tea in refrigerator. Drink over ice, dilute with seltzer if preferred
