Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupwhole wheat flour
  2. 1 cupwater
  3. 1 cupsugar
  4. 1lit Milk
  5. 1/2 tbsp cardamom powder
  6. 1 cupchopped dry fruits (almond, cashew nuts, pistachio)
  7. as neededDeshi ghee for frying
  8. 1 tbspPomegranate and tutti frutti for decoration

Cooking Instructions

    Take the whole wheat flour and water in a bowl. With a whisk keep on stirring and mixing till all the lumps are dissolved and you get a smooth batter.

    Pour the batter in a thick bottomed pan.cook this mixture by stirring continuously,till it become a thick batter. It take a few minutes to get this ready.

    When cool, make small balls of the dough and give the shape.

    For frying heat the ghee on low flame when the ghee is moderately hot fry the rasmalai till golden brown.

    In a heavy bottomed pan boil the milk till milk reduced to one-third.further add cardamom powder, sugar and chopped dry fruits.give a good mix and get to boil. Immediately add rasmalai into hot milk and get a boil off the flame. Cover the lid and rest for 2-3 hours in the refrigerator.

    Garnish with chopped dry fruits and pomegranate and served it chilled.
