These are lovely warm and straight from the oven (I made four but I ate one before I had a chance to take the photo!) but just as good cold and perfect for a picnic. A great dairy free alternative to pizza if you don’t eat cheese.

These are lovely warm and straight from the oven (I made four but I ate one before I had a chance to take the photo!) but just as good cold and perfect for a picnic. A great dairy free alternative to pizza if you don’t eat cheese.

Make a basic pizza dough by adding the yeast to the flour and adding enough warm water to make a dough. knead for at least 10 minutes adding a few sprays of oil to help the dough to become elastic. Cover with a clean tea towel and leave to rise in a warm area for a couple of hours.

Mix the zaatar mix with a little oil and lemon juice.

Form the dough into rounds and flatten, top with the herb mix and bake in a hot oven for around 10 minutes. Top with cucumber, mint and tomato.
