Ingredients

10 minutes
4 persons
  • 4sliced onions
  • 2 tbsplemon juice
  • to tasteSalt
  • 2 tbspfinely chopped green chillies
  • Besan as required
  • Oil for deep frying

Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

    In a mixing bowl combine together onions, lemon juice and salt, mix them well with your hands, so that the onions are separated, cover and keep it for 10 minutes

  2. 2

    Now heat oil for deep frying, on high flame

  3. 3

    Now add besan to the onion mixture accordingly, it should coat all the pieces nicely, no need to add water as the onions will release the enough moisture

  4. 4

    Add chopped green chillies also and mix well, now drop the besan coated onions in the hot oil and fry them until becomes light brown and crispy, take them out on an absorbant paper

  5. 5

    Then take them out in a serving bowl and have them hot with any chutney or sauce
