Ingredients

  1. 500 gTaro
  2. 2chopped onions (medium size)
  3. 1 cupchick-peas boiled and peeled
  4. 1 cupminced parsley
  5. 1/2 cupminced mint
  6. 1/2 cupvegetable oil
  7. 2 tablespoonolive oil
  8. 1 teaspoonsalt
  9. water for boiling

Steps

  1. 1

    Peel the taro and wash it very well.

  2. 2

    In a pot, boil the taro till the sticky substance comes out.

  3. 3

    Wash and drain the taro.

  4. 4

    In a pan, pour the vegetable oil and cook the taro till reddish color appears.

  5. 5

    In a pot, put the taro and cover it with water, add the olive oil, chilly spice (optional).

  6. 6

    Keep it on low heat, stir every while.

  7. 7

    In a pan, cook the onion untill it turns golden brown,

  8. 8

    Then add the taro, parsley, mint, and salt.

  9. 9

    Stir the mix till all ingredients are well combined.

  10. 10

    Served cold or hot as desired.
