Steps

Wash poye saag Very will, drain access water and chop it nicely

Soak Chana dal overnight and Cook separately with water and salt till one whistle

Now take a pan and add mustard oil, add mustard oil, heat it till smoke come, now add whole cumin, red chilli, tezpatta, let it crackle then add chopped onions and Cook on a medium flame covered with the lid.

Add pinch of salt, it will help onions cooking faster, then add garlic paste and if u like bit spicy, you can add crushed green chilli too, cook for sometime.

When onions start getting golden colour add chopped tomatos and mix well add turmeric powder, Kashmiri lal mirchi powder, dhania powder, jeera powder mix well and cover it.

When oil start seperating, add poye ka saag and Cook well. Now after 5 min you can add cooked dal and mix well. Cook for 5 more minutes covered. It's ready enjoy with steamed rice or chapatti
