Ingredients

8 people
  1. 2 cupsCake flour
  2. 2 cupsNutty wheat flour
  3. 1 tspPink salt
  4. 15 mlHoney
  5. 10 gAnchor instant yeast
  6. 15 mlolive oil
  7. 500 mlwarm water
  8. 1egg lightly beaten
  9. 2 tspsesame seeds

Cooking Instructions

    In a bowl, mix flour, salt and yeast.

    In a separate small bowl, combine honey and oil. Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients and add the wet ingredients.

    Add enough water to form a soft dough.

  4. 4

    Knead the bread until it does not stick to your hands. Line two small loaf pans with baking paper and nicely place your loaf into the tin.

    Place your tins in a warm place to rise for up to an hour and double in size.

    Brush the top of the loaves brushed with an egg and sprinkled with plenty sesame seeds.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 180° for 1 hour or until a skewer, when inserted in the centre of the loaves comes out clean.

    Remember to adjust the heat of the oven accordingly. Ovens these days tend to be too hot. In my over I can still do 1 hr but at 150°. Get to know your oven heat settings to avoid a flop.
