Twisted Egg Bread
I helped my mom make this when I was a kid.
Cooking Instructions

Mix yeast, water, and 1 T sugar together. Let sit 10-15 min until bubbly.

Add sugar, honey, butter, and eggs. Gradually stir in flour. Knead until smooth and elastic.

Place in a greased bowl, turn once to cover with grease. Let rise 1 1/2 hours until doubled in size.

Punch down; divide into ninths. Form each piece into a rope 18 inches long. Braid 3 together. Tuck ends and place each in a greased, cornmeal coated bread pan (or on a cookie sheet). Let rise one hour.

Brush with egg yolk, then sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds.
Bake 350°F for 30 minutes.

This is the sweet potato version of my soft twisted pumpkin bread. The filling is made with both sweet potato and cheese. I tried over and over to get this recipe right.Adjust the amount of water in the bread dough based on how watery the potatoes are. Since there's a lot of filling being used, don't twist the dough too much or the filling will squeeze out. The point is to twist them lightly and gently, and then tuck the ends underneath.
