Ingredients

Serves 4 to 6 servings
  1. 1 sheetpuff pastry or pie crust (your choice)
  2. 7 ozbacon strips (about 200 grams)
  3. 3eggs
  4. 1 2/3 cupsheavy cream (about 400 ml)
  5. Shredded Swiss cheese
  6. Salt, pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    Place the pastry in a pie dish and prick the bottom with a fork.

  2. 2

    Spread the bacon evenly over the bottom of the crust.

  3. 3

    In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream, salt, and pepper.

  4. 4

    Pour the mixture over the bacon in the crust and sprinkle shredded Swiss cheese on top.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for 20 minutes.
