Ingredients

30 minutes
6 servings
  1. 3/4 cupWhole Wheat Flour
  2. 1/4 cupJowar Flour (Sorghum)
  3. 1/4 cupBajra Flour (Pearl Millet)
  4. 1/4 cupRagi Flour (Finger Millet)
  5. 1 teaspoonmelon seeds slightly roasted
  6. 1 tablespoonSesame seeds/Til seeds slightly roasted
  7. 1/4 teaspoonsalt or to taste
  8. 1/4 teaspoonblack Pepper powder or to taste
  9. 1/2 teaspoonRed Chilli flakes or as required
  10. 4 tablespoonCoconut Oil, or olive oil
  11. 1/2 cupWater or as required
  12. 1 tablespoonjaggery scraped

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    First of all mix the flours into a large mixing bowl, add the roasted sesame seeds, melon seeds, chilli flakes, black pepper powder and salt.

    Mix well and add oil and mix all the ingredients till well combined.

  3. 3

    Meanwhile dissolve the jaggery by boiling it in half cup of water.

  4. 4

    Now add little jaggery syrup little at a time and knead the mixture into a soft and firm dough.

  5. 5

    Cover the dough and let it rest for 20 minutes at room temperature.

  6. 6

    Meanwhile, pre-heat the oven at 180 Degree Centigrade

  7. 7

    Roll out the dough into a large circle or a rectangle of 1/4 th inch thickness and cut out desired shapes with a knife or a cookie cutter. You can also use a pizza cutter to cut these into diamond shapes.

  8. 8

    Bake for 10 minutes or until the edges turn a light brown.
    (Take care not to burn them.)

  9. 9

    When done take them out and let them cool down to the room temperature.

  10. 10

    Serve the crunchy crackers to your loved ones.
