Ingredients

6 to 8 servings
  1. 1 3/4 cupsboiling water
  2. 1 cuprolled oats
  3. 2 cupssugar
  4. 1/2 cupbutter
  5. 2eggs
  6. 1 3/4 cupsall-purpose flour
  7. 1 tspbaking soda
  8. 1 tablespoonunsweetened cocoa powder
  9. 1 pinchsalt
  10. 1 cupsemisweet chocolate chips

Cooking Instructions

    Mix water and oatmeal in mixing bowl, and let sit 10 minutes.

    Add sugar, butter and eggs. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Add flour, baking soda, cocoa, and salt. Blend. Add half chocolate chips.

    Pour into greased and floured 10 x 15 x 1 inch baking pan. Top with remaining chocolate chips. Tap the dish gently to remove air bubbles.

    Bake in a preheated (180°c)oven for 20 to 30 minutes. Check using a toothpick. Then cool it on room temperature. Healthy cake is ready to have😊
