Clean the fish thoroughly and pat it dry with paper towels. Use a nonstick skillet to fry the fish so you don't need much oil, but it still turns out crispy and tasty. Add 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of cooking oil to the pan, heat it up, then place the fish in the pan and cover with a lid.

Fry over medium-low heat for about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, flip the fish and cook for another 10 minutes until both sides are golden brown. Serve the fish with cucumber slices and a bowl of fish sauce with lime and chili. Enjoy a delicious meal with fragrant fish that's not greasy.
