Made these the other day for breakfast. In the Konkan region, these pancakes are called ghavan. They are a quick, light and delicious breakfast option. One can even pack these for the kids' school lunch boxes.

Add the Rice Flour and the Semolina into a blender, add the salt, asafoetida, curd and water as required. Blitz until you get a smooth, flowy batter.

Add the batter into a large bowl, you can add more water to get the desired consistency of water. Cover and set aside to rest for 10 minutes.

Add the chopped green chillies and the onions, mix well.

Heat a nonstick tava, grease with 1 teaspoon oil. Pour a ladleful of batter, spread into a circle.

Cover and cook on low-medium heat until golden brown and crisp from both sides.

Serve hot with Chutney and Curd.
