Wash, dry the karela. Cut the edges and make a slit from middle. Remove the seeds.

Take a pan, add oil roast the besan, when done, add all the spices except coriander leaves and sesame seed.

Now after besan cools stuff the karela with the besan filling. Now take thread and tie the karela so that the stuffing doesn't come out. Heat oil in a kadai, add the karela, mix well and cover and cook till the karela's are soft and tender. Dry roast the sesame seed and lastly sprinkle it over the karela. Mix well. Serve with chapatti.
