Ingredients

  • 1 cupgreen moong sprouts
  • 1chopped onion
  • 5-6 curry leaves
  • 1chopped green chilli
  • 1 tspcurshed ginger and garlic
  • 1 pinchasafoetida
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 tspmalvani masala or red chilli powder,garam masala
  • To tasteSalt
  • 1 tbspfreshly grated coconut
  • As requiredWater
  • 1 tbsoil

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add chopped onion,curry leaves, green chilli and saute on medium heat for 1 minute, add ginger and garlic mix well,then add sprouted moong, turmeric powder, malvani masala, asafoetida,salt, mix well,now add water and pressure cook for 3 whistle.

  2. 2

    Mooga chi Usal is ready it garnish with coconut and serve with chapati or phulka
