Dalia or broken wheat is a very nutritious ingredient that can be consumed by anyone as an everyday meal. So, here I'm sharing a very tasty broken wheat upma recipe that can be considered as a healthy lunch option any day
Steps

Dry roast the dalia for 2 minutes & then keep it aside

Heat the oil in a pressure cooker & add the curry leaves, mustard seeds, cumin seeds & dry red chillies into the oil. Saute for few seconds & then quickly add all the vegetables

Saute for few minutes & then add the grated ginger

Saute for a while & then add the peanuts and resins
- 5
Saute for a couple of minutes & then add the roasted broken wheat along with the salt, turmeric powder and black pepper powder

Saute everything for another couple of minutes & then cover the pressure cooker with it's lid. Then let it produce 6-7 whistles

After that turn off the flame & wait until the cooker releases the pressure completely. Then open the cooker, fluff the broken wheat upma with a fork & enjoy a bowl full of healthy & tasty goodness
