Ingredients

  1. Halfkg whole wheat seeds(gihoon)
  2. 1 cupbarley (jaw
  3. Halfcup chana daal
  4. Halfcup moong daal
  5. Halfcup mash daal
  6. Halfcup masoor daal
  7. 1.5 kgBeef
  8. 2onion
  9. 3-4tomatoes
  10. 1 tbsred chilli powder
  11. 2 tbsginger garlic paste
  12. 1 tbscoriander powder
  13. 1 tsphaldi
  14. 1 tspgaram masala powder
  15. 10-12green chillies
  16. to tasteSalt
  17. 1.5 cupOil
  18. For bighaar 1 onion and chaat masala
  19. For garnishing, fried onion,green chilli,ginger

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak all the lentils for 4 to 6 hours.

    Boil them with haldi and half cup oil and green chillies.until done.blend into smooth consistency

  3. 3

    Fry onions in oil until translucent add ginger garlic paste and beef,mix well add tomatoes and all spices bhonify well add water and cook until mashy.

    When done take out the bones and shred the meat.add meat and masala into lentil mixture.add salt and cook for 45 min.stir continuously (ghotta lagana).

  5. 5

    Check the consistency sprinkle chaat masala and and give bagharr of onion,

  6. 6

    Garnish with fried onion,fresh dhania,chilli and ginger
