Ingredients

  1. 1 cup Chenna
  2. 1 Onion
  3. 1 Tomato
  4. 1/4 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  5. 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  6. 1/2 tsp Chilli powder
  7. 1/4 cup Grated cheese
  8. 1 tsp Cumin powder
  9. 1 tsp Peanut
  10. 1 tspfennel seeds
  11. As required oil
  12. To taste salt
  13. 1/4 cup Dry coconut
  14. For sweet chutney
  15. 12Dry grapes
  16. 1Ripe Banana
  17. 1 tspTamarind pulp
  18. 1/4 tspChilli powder
  19. 2 pinchCumin seed
  20. PinchSalt
  21. 1/4 tsp.Boil the water and add dry grapes,cumin seeds chilli powder and tamarind pulp.Boil it for 5 minutes.After it cools down,add a banana and grind it well
  22. Green chutney
  23. 1 handfulPalak
  24. 1 handfulMint
  25. 1Green chilli
  26. 1/2 tspLemon juice
  27. 1/4 tspSalt
  28. 1 Boil the water and put palak leaves in the water and let it boil for about a minute and let it cool.Mix palak,mint leaves,green chilli,lemon juice,salt and grind it well

Steps

    Soak the chana for 7 hours,then add salt and boil it.

  2. 2

    Pour oil in kadai and add cinnamon,cardamom and saunf / fennel seeds,peanut and fry it.

  3. 3

    Now,add onions and let it get fried and let it become golden brown.Add tomatoes and saute it well.Then add dry coconuts and fry it.

  4. 4

    Now,add chilli powder,coriander powder,cumin powder,fry it and let it cool.Grind it well.

  5. 5

    Take another kadai and pour oil in it.Add the grinded masala and saute it well.

  6. 6

    Add some water and let it boil.Add salt to taste and also add the boiled chana and keep it medium flame and bring it down.

  7. 7

    Transfer it in serving bowl and add grated cheese, green chutney,and another spoon sweet chutney and also add pieces of onions and tomato pieces.

    You could this as a side dish with bread,pav or mini puris.
