Dry roast all masala items and powder them together.

Boil toor Dal in cooker.

Boil beans, carrot, peas and potatoes.

Add rice, boiled Dal, vegetables and cook.

In a separate pan, add oil or ghee.

Add mustard seeds and let it splutter.

Add curry leaves and chopped onions. Fry them

Add capsicum and tomato one after the other. Continue frying.

Add tamarind paste, masala powder, grated coconut to it.

Add everything into one container and cook. Make sure it is in a semi solid state. Add hot water if necessary. This dish requires double the water we would use in normal cooking.
