Ingredients

  1. 1 cupwhite chickpeas
  2. 1/2 cupgrated processed cheese
  3. 1medium size chopped onion
  4. 1/4 cuptomatoe puree
  5. 1chopped tomatoe
  6. 1 1/2 tspoil
  7. 1/2 tspchopped ginger
  8. 1/2 tspchopped garlic
  9. 1 tbspchopped coriander
  10. 2-3Green cardamom
  11. 1Black cardamom
  12. 2Bay leaf
  13. 3-4Cloves
  14. 3-4black pepper corn
  15. 1javitri
  16. 1 inchCinnamon stick
  17. 1/4 tspred chilli powder
  18. To tasteSalt
  19. 1/4 tspkitchen king masala
  20. 1/4 tspgaram masala
  21. 1 tspchilli masala
  22. 1/4 tspcoriander powder
  23. 200 gmWheat flour
  24. 25 gmmaida
  25. 25 gmSemolina
  26. 2whole red chilli
  27. 1/4 tbspjeera

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil the chickpeas.

  2. 2

    Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Put all the whole spices in the pan and saute it.

  3. 3

    Put ginger, garlic, green chilli, onion and fry it until they are brown.

  4. 4

    Put all the grinded spices, tomatoe puree, chopped tomatoes, some water and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.

  5. 5

    Put all the boiled chickpeas and let it cook till the texture is thick. Add coriander and cheese to it.

  6. 6

    Mix aata, suji, maida, 1/2 tbsp oil and prepare a dough.

  7. 7

    Make big and thick rotis and give it the shape of a plate by pressing it's corners.

  8. 8

    Stuff the roti with chickpeas. Put water to the corners of another roti and stick to the previous one by pressing the corners.

  9. 9

    Now cook it in the tandoor.
