First of all marinate the prawns with turmeric powder, chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, soy sauce and salt to taste for 10-15 minutes.

In a bowl beat the egg. Add in a pinch of salt, pepper powder and orange food colour. Whisk it well.

Take breadcrumbs in a plate.

Heat oil in a pan over medium flame.

Now pin a toothpick into each marinated prawn, dip them into the egg mix, coat them with the breadcrumbs and gently drop them into the hot oil. Drop 4-5 prawns at a time. Fry till golden brown.

Remove and place the fried prawns on paper towel to drain excess oil.

Transfer them to a serving plate and serve hot with any kind of sauce or chutney.
