Ingredients

  1. 500 gfat-free beef meat (beaten)
  2. 2 tspfine brown Burghul
  3. 1onion medium sized
  4. 8green Basil leaves
  5. 1/2 tspcumin
  6. 1/2 tspsalt
  7. 2ice cubes or 3 spoons ice cold water (for kebbe)
  8. Cold water to spred kebbe mixture
  9. Garnish
  10. 50 ganimal fat(optional)
  11. 50 gwalnuts
  12. 50 gonion
  13. 1/4 tspsalt

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Wash Burghul and drain very well.

  2. 2

    Grind meat & ice cubes or ice cold water in food processor,untill we get a smooth,viscous sticky mixture.

    Onion and basil are also grind or knocked in kebbe mortar.

  4. 4

    With hands,mix well meat, spices,onion,basil and salt.

  5. 5

    Add Burghul while kneading and rubbing well,untill we get a compact paste, medium soft.

  6. 6

    Wet hands with water and spread kebbe in serving dish.

  7. 7

    Dish is decorated with well grind animal fat,onion,and walnuts (optional).

  8. 8

    Add olive oil over the kebbe.
