Steps

Beat the eggs and sugar until light and creamy.

Fold in the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder and cardamom powder).

Combine the oil and water, add to the mixture and beat well. Add the rose essence and stir through.

Pour into desired cake pan and bake at 180*C for 20-25 minutes.

Allow to cool.

Method for icing.
Cream the butter for a few minutes on high speed with an electric mixer. It will become pale yellow. Add the icing sugar, milk powder, rose essence and cardamom powder and mix well for 5 minutes. Add the milk if needed. - 7
Adjust as desired. Beat well. Spread onto cooled cake and decorate as desired. Enjoy.
