I am actually a big fan of any kind of tandoori recipes. That may be veg or non veg. This time I thought to make something with veg item. So i make this tandoori aalo and it wasreally very tasty. Not very hard to make but tastes awesome.

I am actually a big fan of any kind of tandoori recipes. That may be veg or non veg. This time I thought to make something with veg item. So i make this tandoori aalo and it wasreally very tasty. Not very hard to make but tastes awesome.
Steps

In a pan add 2 cup of water, 2 tspn of salt and the potatoes then boil till the potatoes are half cooked.

In a mixing bowl take the yogurt, roasted gram flour, oil, red chilli powder, kashmiri red chilli powder, kasauri methi, salt to taste and tandoori masala then mix it well.

Now add the boiled potatoes, capsicum and onion pieces into this yogurt mixture and mix with gentle hand and keep it aside for atleast 20 mins.

Dip the bamboo sticks into water for sometime. Now take a stick, skewer the potato, capsicum, onion one after another.

Repeat the process and make all. Now in a fry pan brush oil and put the skewers. Turn onto other side when one side is done. Fry till they cooked well.

Finally your tandoori aalo is ready to serve. Sprinkle some lemon juice and give a small bowl of green chutney while serving.
