Take a cooker,add soak chickpeas for at least 5 hours or overnight.add water to cover 2 inches above chole.add bay leaf

Add garlic cloves,add black pepper,add cloves and add cinnemon stick.

Take a pan add water,add black tea for black colour

Boiled it and strain.cook on medium flame for 3-4 whistle.

Let the cooker depressurize naturally and then only open the cooker.now cooked chole is ready.In a pan add oil,add cumin seeds,add split green chilli,add ginger juliennes

Add onion paste,add tomato puree,add coriander powder

Add pomegranate powder,add chole masala powder,add red chilli powder

Mix it well properly and cook for 2-3 min.add the cooked chole bring to a boil.add salt and kasuri methi mix it well.amritsari chole is ready to serve.
