I always wanted to make my own bread, so today I decided to have a go with successful results

Tip the flour into a bowl and mix in the yeast and salt. add the warm water, oil and honey, mix together to make a soft dough.

Tip dough onto a lightly floured surface and let it rest for 5 minutes. Afterwards knead the dough for at least 10 minutes then let it rest again for another 5 minutes

Get a 2lb tin and lightly grease it, then shape the dough to the tin, then cover loosely with a t towel or cling film and place in a warm place for approximately 1-2 hours or till the dough has risen to double its size

Pre heat the oven to 230c then uncover the dough and place tin in oven, bake for around 30 - 35 minutes or until golden brown.

After baking, tip the bread out of tin, and tap the bottom, if sounds hollow, its cooked if not replace back in tin and place back in oven till its done

After its done. Let stand till cooled then enjoy
