Ingredients

  • 1 cupPoha (rolled rice flakes)
  • 1Tomato(chopped)
  • HandfulCoriander leaves (chopped)
  • 1/4 cupPomegranate seeds (optional)
  • 2Green chillies (chopped)
  • 1/4 cupPeanuts (roasted)
  • HandfulCurry leaves (optional)
  • 1/2 tspMustard seeds
  • 1 tbspOil
  • 1 pinchAstofedia
  • To tasteSalt
  • 1/4 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1 tspred Chilli powder
  • 1 tspLemon juice
  • as neededSev namkeen to serve

Steps

  1. 1

    Get your veggies ready and peanuts roasted.

  2. 2

    Wash and strain out the water from poha.keep aside.

  3. 3

    Heat oil in a wok. Add aisefotoeda and mustard seeds along with curry leaves.

  4. 4

    Let them splatter then add chillies and tomato. Saute.

  5. 5

    Add poha and spices mix well.

  6. 6

    Switch off the flame after 2 mins.

  7. 7

    Add peanuts, pomegranate seeds, chopped coriander, lemon juice and namkeen sev. Serve hot.
