I love to make sauces, especially wing sauces. For some reason, I always have “out-of-the-box” types but needed this classic sauce for the repertoire.

Classic Buffalo Wing Sauce

I love to make sauces, especially wing sauces. For some reason, I always have “out-of-the-box” types but needed this classic sauce for the repertoire.

Ingredients

  1. 1 (8 oz)stick of butter
  2. 1/2 CupLouisiana Hot Sauce (or Frank’s if you prefer)
  3. 2 tbsApple cider vinegar
  4. 1 tspWorcestershire sauce
  5. 1 tsppaprika (I use Hungarian)
  6. 1/2 tspgarlic powder
  7. 1/2 tsppepper powder (any heat level you desire...I use ghost)
  8. Salt to taste (approx 1/2 tsp)

Cooking Instructions

    Melt butter in small saucepan.

  2. 2

    Whisk other ingredients together and pour into saucepan with the melted butter. Whisk until smooth.

    Let simmer on low for approx 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes before placing in a air tight glass jar.

    Refrigerate for an hour to let flavors meld and then ENJOY!
