Batata vada
Steps

First of all mixed together into a batter 1/2 besan(gram flour), a pinch of turmeric powder, salt to taste, water as per requirement

Heat the oil In a small kadhai and add the mustard seeds.

When the seeds crackle leaves and saute on a medium flame for a few seconds

Add the garlic, ginger, green chillies and saute on a medium flame for a few seconds

Add the potatoes, salt and turmeric powder, mix well and cook for a minute, while stirring continuously

Remove from the flame and keep aside to cool

Divide into 2 equal portion and shape each portion into a round
- 8
Dip each vada in the prepared batter and deep fry in hot oil till they turn golden Brown in colour from all the sides... Drain on absorbent paper and keep aside

Serve immediately with green chillies and green chutney and tomato sauce.... Our vada is ready to eat...... #homechef
