Moong Dal Pitha

Take the pressure cooker add ghee and roast moong dal.

Now add water and milk

Pressure cook for 4 whistles on medium flame. Then whisk the dal smooth.

Add water and stir well to form a smooth consistency.

Now add Rice flour and stir well.

Keep stirring until the mixture starts to separate from pan

Add Ghee and continue to mix. mix until a non-sticky dough is formed separating the pan easily.

Pinch a small ball size dough and shape it With the help of toothpick as shown in the picture.

Drop the prepared Pitha's and Deep fry until it turns golden brown.

For sugar syrup :- in a deep large vessel add sugar and water mix well
- 11
Then boil it for 5 mins. after add cardamom powder and lemon juice mix well. and keep aside

Now Drop the fried Pitha's into warm sugar syrup and rest them for 2 hours before serving moong dal pitha.

After 2 hours enjoy Moong dal pitha garnished with dry fruits...
