Moroccan Okra Stew (Mlakhia)

Cook the potatoes, cut into cubes, for 15 minutes in salted boiling water.

Wash the okra and trim the ends.

Cut the onions in half and then into thin slices. Sauté in oil.

Add the tomato, pepper, and spices.

Add the okra and mix everything well. Then pour over the bouillon dissolved in 2 cups (500 ml) of water.

Let simmer for 15 minutes over medium heat until the okra becomes tender, then add the potatoes and a bit of chili pepper.

Continue cooking for 5 minutes over low heat. Enjoy on its own, with meat, or with fish ♨ You can also serve it with some white rice.
