Ingredients

  1. 14 ozokra
  2. 2onions
  3. 1 teaspoonginger
  4. 1tomato or 1/2 can crushed tomatoes
  5. Spices: pepper, salt, and chili pepper
  6. 3potatoes (cooked for 15 minutes in boiling water separately)
  7. 3 tablespoonsoil
  8. 1bouillon cube of your choice

Steps

    Cook the potatoes, cut into cubes, for 15 minutes in salted boiling water.

  2. 2

    Wash the okra and trim the ends.

  3. 3

    Cut the onions in half and then into thin slices. Sauté in oil.

  4. 4

    Add the tomato, pepper, and spices.

  5. 5

    Add the okra and mix everything well. Then pour over the bouillon dissolved in 2 cups (500 ml) of water.

    Let simmer for 15 minutes over medium heat until the okra becomes tender, then add the potatoes and a bit of chili pepper.

    Continue cooking for 5 minutes over low heat. Enjoy on its own, with meat, or with fish ♨ You can also serve it with some white rice.
