In a blender add rice and water, grind it, make a smooth paste.

Transfer this in a bowl add suji, salt mix well, add water as required to get thick flowing consistency. Keep aside for 15 minutes.

Add onion, capsicum, chilli flakes, coriander, black pepper powder, salt to taste (as rice already have salt) and mix well.

Heat oil in a tadka pan add mustard seeds,(seeds splutters switch off gas) green chilli, curry leaves, mix well

Pour this temper in suji batter, mix well add baking soda and 1 tbsp water, mix it well.

Heat appe pan, grease it with oil, pour batter in each cavity, cover with lid, cook for 3 to 4 minutes on low flame.

After that sprinkle very little oil on them, flip them, cover with lid and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes

Transfer them on a plate. Leftover rice appe are ready to serve. Serve hot with green chutney.
