Aloo masala pooris are very popular Indian breakfast recipe. Due to addition of boiled potatoes these pooris are so soft. Although this is winter season and kothimbir / coriander leaves are abundantly available everywhere, so I have added plenty amount of these leaves while making the pooris.

Aloo masala pooris are very popular Indian breakfast recipe. Due to addition of boiled potatoes these pooris are so soft. Although this is winter season and kothimbir / coriander leaves are abundantly available everywhere, so I have added plenty amount of these leaves while making the pooris.

Chop the kothimbir / coriander leaves along with the chilli.

In a mixing bowl put wheat flour and then add salt, grated potato and ginger in it.

Then add rest of the ingredients except water.

Then slowly add required amount of water to make a tight dough and cover it for 10minutes.

Then make small lemon sized balls of the dough. Slightly deep them in oil and roll them as small pooris.

Heat oil in a Kadai and deep fry them till they become golden in colour.

Now your kothimbir aloo masala pooris are ready. Serve hot with pickle or any curry.
