Ingredients

  • 3medium bundles of palak washed and chopped finely
  • 1 bundlemethi washed and chopped finely
  • 2onions sliced
  • 4tomatoes chopped
  • 2 tbspginger garlic paste
  • 2green chillies chopped
  • 1 tsphaldi / turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tspchilli powder
  • 1 tspcoriander powder
  • 1 tspjeera / cumin powder
  • 1 tspkitchen king masala
  • 3 tbspoil
  • To tasteSalt as per taste
  • 3potatoes cut into cubes (optional)z

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil in a kadai add ginger garlic paste saute for few mins add chopped green chillies & half of the sliced onions fry for a few mins.

  2. 2

    Add potatoes fry them,cover and cook for 10 mins. Then add haldi powder, coriander powder, jeera powder, chilli powder & kitchen king masala. Fry for few mins

  3. 3

    Add the washed and chopped palak and methi mix it till it settles down, then add the remaining onions,chopped tomatoes and salt.

  4. 4

    Cover and cook for 10 mins on medium flame, then stir thoroughly so that all combines well. Simmer for 5 mins. Done. Can add a little white butter on top while serving (optional)
