Take the khoya, paneer, and semolina.

Add the baking powder. Grate the paneer and mix well.

Now add the khoya and all-purpose flour.

Knead and mix all the ingredients until the mixture is very smooth.

In a small bowl, combine a little of the khoya mixture with sugar, pistachios, cashews, and yellow food coloring. Mix well to make the filling.

Make a sugar syrup by combining sugar and water. Add the ground cardamom.

Take a small portion of the khoya mixture, fill it with a little of the yellow filling, and shape into a ball.

Make all the jamuns this way.

Heat ghee in a deep pan and fry the kala jamuns over medium heat.

Fry the jamuns until they are dark in color on all sides, then soak them in the sugar syrup for 20-25 minutes.

Remove the jamuns to a bowl. Take the edible silver leaf.

Place the silver leaf on top of the jamuns. The silver leaf is optional; you can skip it if you prefer.

Delicious kala jam / kala jamun is ready to serve.
