Ingredients

  1. For filling
  2. 1 cupChana daal
  3. 2Green chilli
  4. 1 inchGinger piece
  5. to tasteSalt
  6. 1 tbspOil
  7. 1Onion Chopped
  8. 1/2 tspGaram masala
  9. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  10. 1/2 tspcoriander powder
  11. 2 tspCoriander leaves chopped

Cooking Instructions

    Boil daal in two bowls of water in a pressure cooker adding salt and turmeric powder.

    Open the cooker once the pressure is released and daal is cooled down, Mix all the Masalas, finely chopped green chilli and chopped coriander leaves

  3. 3

    Daal should be soft but not mushy.

  4. 4

    Take dough
    Make ball, roll a bit
    Keep the stuffing inside and make a ball again holding edges
    Pat a little and roll again

  5. 5

    Place it on hot tawa
    Flip once and apply ghee
    Flip again and apply ghee on the other side too.

  6. 6

    Remove when done
    Serve hot with pickle
