Butter up cupcake tray

Cut out circular pastry shapes big enough to cover the bottom and go up the sides of each position on the tray

Place pastry in the tray x12

I used a mixer, mix egg, flour. Sugar, baking powder, almond extract together until light and fluffy

Place jam or nutella what ever you fancy in the cup cake holder on the pastry just a blob.

Add mixed cake mix over the jam

Bake for 20mins on bottom shelf at 190 degrees. Check and leave longer if they are not golden brown. Test one once cooled and return to oven if the pastry is undercooked.

Dust with icing sugar if you wish. I decided not too as it's a bit messy for me haha.
