This recipe was taken from an old cook book. Lost the recipe and found it, so I decided to put it in here. I also use extra ham and cheese, because my family likes ham and cheese. The photos are of a triple batch of noodles.

Ingredients

25 at 375°
  1. 6 ouncesNoodles cooked and drained- I prefer the bowtie pasta
  2. 2 cupscubed baked ham
  3. 1 cupgrated Longhorn or Cheddar Cheese
  4. 1 (10 oz)can cream of chicken soup or cream of mushroom soup
  5. 2/3 cupmilk or evaporated milk
  6. 1small can of mushroom pieces
  7. 1 tspinstant minced onions
  8. 1 tspparsley flakes
  9. 2Tlbs butter
  10. 1/2 canDurkee Fried Onions

Cooking Instructions

25 at 375°
  1. 1

    Mix ham with 3/4 cups cheese.

    Layer noodles and ham mixture in greased 2 qt. Casserole dish.

    Sprinkle the minced onions, parsley flakes, and mushroom pieces between the layers.

    Combine soup and milk and pour over the top layer. Can be heated to make it more combined.

  5. 5

    Top with 1/4 cup of cheese and Dot with butter.

  6. 6

    Bake uncovered at 375° for 25 minutes.

  7. 7

    Top with Fried Onions, and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.

This was a great quick dinner. I also used a can of cream of mushroom soup, and added half and half. Will definitely make this again!
