Steps

Firstly soak rice, chana dal, toor dal, urad dal for 3 to 4 hours.

Add curd and blend to a smooth but slightly coarse paste.

Further add grated carrot, peas, coriander leaves, ginger paste, green chilli, sugar, chilli powder, turmeric powder, oil, and salt.

Mix well making sure the batter is slightly thick like idly batter consistency.

Now add ENO and mix gently.

Take a deep nonstick pan add oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, sesame seeds, green chilli, curry leaves, and hing, allow to splutter.

Keep few tempering in a bowl.

Now pour all the batter in that pan and sprinkle the tempering over the batter and cover a lid, slow the flame.

After 30 minutes flip another side and cook for 15 minutes.

Check by inserting a knife, if knife comes out clear then handvo is ready to eat.

Let's cool down for few minutes then Cut into desire shape and serve.

Note- YOU can also mix chopped cabbage and grated bottle gourd in batter.
