Paneer Masala Dhaba Style

In a bowl put curd, add all the dry spices. Mix well. Add paneer pieces. Mix well and keep aside for 15 minutes. Then shallow fry till it gets grill marks on all sides.

Blend in blender tomatoes, ginger, garlic and all dry spices.

Heat oil and butter, add cumin seeds, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves. When they splutter add finely chopped onion. Cook till golden, then add besan. Cook again for another 2 minutes, then add blended mixture, salt and sugar. Cook till gravy forms a lump. Add garam masala, Kasuri methi, fried paneer. Mix well add one cup of water and cover and cook for five minutes. Serve hot with paratha or roti.
