puffed rice popularly known as murmura holds a special place. Though it is not nutritionally rich, it is light on stomach, easy to digest and low in calories.

Dry roast the peanuts and put them aside.

Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan. Add mustard seeds and let it splutter.

Add curry leaves and roasted peanuts. Fry them for a minute.
Add puffed rice. Add turmeric powder, salt and red chilli powder. - 4
Mix well.Keep roasting it for around 7-8 minutes on sim flame.
Cool and store it in air tight container.
