Ingredients

  • 1/2Tuber of yam
  • 1 cupEgusi
  • 1/2 cupRed oil
  • 2Large chopped onion
  • 5Grind pepper
  • 1 1/2 cupWater
  • 1tspn black pepper
  • 1tspn salt
  • Seasoning
  • Spinach

Steps

  1. 1

    Firstly, peel the yam wash it and add water to over cook until d water becomes starchy

  2. 2

    Using motor and pistol, pound d yam very well into it sticks together

  3. 3

    Roll d pounded yam into a ball and place it into a cling film on the center and close sides of the film like u tie a wrapper

  4. 4

    For the Egusi soup

    Add onion and little water, mould ur Egusi into balls and set aside

  6. 6

    Wash ur spinach with plenty water and shred

    Put ur oil into an empty pot and stir frying until light

  8. 8

    Add ur molded Egusi stair occasionally till it’s no longer sticky to d pot

  9. 9

    Add ur seasoning, nutmeg, black pepper Nd salt stair and cover, wait for d Egusi to rise

    Then add ur spinach stair and cover it to be a little bit soft

    When it’s done u can serve
