Carrot halwa with milk recipe

Firstly Wash, peel and grate the carrots with grater.

Now in pan add ghee and all the dry fruits. roast it for one minute.and remove keep aside.then in a same pan add grated carrot to the same pan. And cook for for 4 to 5 minutes or until they turn soft.

Now add milk. mix well and let the milk comes to boil. stir in between so that milk does not get stick to bottom.

Cook for 20 minutes on low flame. Make sure all the milk should be evaporated.
Now add sugar. mix it well with milk.Now, cook the carrots for 10 minutes in a low mediam flame until all the milk evaporates.or it's consistency will little dry. - 5
Now add cardamom powder and mix well.then add 1 tbsp ghee mix and cook for 2 minutes more.it will give a nice shine to our carrot halwa.

You gajar halwa is ready. garnish it with dry fruits. serve it warm.
