Sort the omena to remove any dirt and soak in hot water then wash thoroughly.

Heat oil on a sufuria. When ready, add salt then omena and fry them in the hot oil till they turn golden brown then add onions. Cover for 2minutes,stir and add in garlic. Then add tomatoes stir well and cover for another 4-5 minutes. Then add a few drops of water. Let it cook till it's ready.

The soup should be thick.
